Train Your Puppy for the Crate
If you want to get a dog for yourself, you might want to get a puppy so that you can grow up with it and really bond together. You might have to train the puppy so if you have the time, you should learn how you can get to train them. When you get a puppy, you should be sure that you love and care for it because it is going to be a part of your family. You should always make your puppy feel safe and secure when they are with you. There are people who choose to keep their pets in crates and if you are one of them, you might have to train your puppy to stay in a crate. Stick around to learn how you can train your puppy for the crate.
Get a crate that will allow your puppy to sit, stand and lie down in it so they can feel comfortable. Once you have a good crate for your pup, you can start to associate it with them. Your puppy should be used to the crate before you start putting them inside of it. If your puppy does not want to go inside the crate, you can feed them in those crates so that they will associate those crates with good times because they get to eat if they enter the crate. Make sure that they do not do their potty in those crates as that can turn them away from wanting to enter the crate. You should keep those crates in a quiet place away from too much noise so they can feel calm when they are in the crate.
If you want to leave your puppy in those crates when you leave for work, you should really train them to behave well when they are left in the crate. You can start with putting your puppy into those crates, closing the door for a few seconds and then open it. Your puppy will get used to the time in the crate and soon enough, they will not bother so much when you leave them there. If your puppy does not want you out of their sight, you can start by walking a few meters away and coming right back. Do this constantly until you can get to leave your puppy in the crate and be gone for quite some time. A common mistake that many puppy owners make is that they will leave their puppy in the crate on their first day and they can traumatize your puppy and make them really hate that crate.
